I started out as a mortgage broker many moons ago. Right from the start, I loved helping people realise their dreams, but it became increasingly obvious that helping people and businesses get into debt wasn’t the full picture. That debt, and the families and business partners that surrounded it, also needed protection. So I expanded my services to cover risk protection and fire and general insurances.
The fact that I can use my skills to help a wide range of people is what I really enjoy. Nothing beats helping first home buyers into their first home, or stopping a mortgagee sale so that clients can keep their own home. I also enjoy opening new doors for investors who have been shut out by their own bank, helping small businesses secure cash flow to ride out challenging situations, and enabling older people to release equity from their home so they can retire cash-rich, not asset-rich.
Not shy of a challenge, I will always look outside the square to make a deal work. And, I even created my own program which calculates which banks my clients qualify for within just two minutes – so I can provide my clients with options super fast!
When I am not at work you’ll find me on the beach, fishing, walking or out socialising with friends.
